And then there is the Alma Mater, which we only sang on Graduation Day, and since we didn't have a clue what it was, they gave us a mimeographed copy of it to memorize and sing at the end of commencement. I glued it into a scrapebook, so just for the heck of it, here it is...probably no one knows what it is! I have no idea what the tune is either. For the history books:

Alma Mater

Hail, Alma Mater,
Gratefully we sing.
Here to thine honored halls
Laurels we shall bring.
Long shall the chorus float
O'er hill, and vale
Long shall we raise our song
Hail to thee, all Hail.

Far down the beck'ning years
Tho' our ways may part,
Still shall we sing to thee
Praises from the heart,
True to thy blue and white.
We'll never fail.
Long shall we raise our song
Hail to thee, all Hail
